Milica Kapa
The intervention zone is the old and derelict industrial complex of Stara Železara, which is located at the very entrance to the city of Smederevo and represents a very important benchmark in the city.
The complex is divided into two parts, a private and a public part. The public part has one main entrance that immediately leads to the large square and the monument. This part of the complex is accessible to everyone, and attractions include a space for events, shops, a shopping center, a recreation and rest area by the river, as well as a pier for ships. The private part of the complex has two entrances, the complex is a film city that contains a building for administration, sets for filming, production and post-production, animation, storage, a model shop and a paint shop, as well as a facility for accommodation and living quarters for actors and workers, and a restaurant is part of the facility on the bank of the river. In the private part of the complex there is also a museum of machines and historical analysis of the development of film in Serbia, it is located in the premises of the building which is under protection.
