As a response to the very average project location, I came across the idea of reviving it by introducing a special program theme – photography. Taking into account the great use of photography and the fact that this discipline combines spaces which can be used in accordance with different interests and needs, a predominantly verticaly arranged underground object with photography supporting spaces was created. In order for the object to attract visitors, and represent technology and the introverted nature of photography itself, a steel-glass tower was created in order to come out all the way out from the underground, and become a special accent of the project as well as a place for aerial photography of the city. By introducing a temporary housing facility at the other end of the plot, a public space was created between the two parts of the project. That created a unique structure, carefully integrated into the context and it can be actively used both day and night.
